Warehouse Sale

Lazy shoppers, listen up. You hate trekking from shop to shop looking for the perfect outfit. The scenario's always the same: If they have your size, you can't find it in the right color. If you've fallen head over heels for a deep purple top, which will pair perfectly with your designer denim digs, it inevitably will be too big or too small. Be on the lookout for great winter closeouts, too! Jan. 12-13, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. West Village Shopping Center 4500 West Village Place, Suite 3005 Smyrna, GA 30080 Participating Boutiques: Cherry Pie, Frolic, Hand in Pocket, Liv's (Full article and comments)

He set out to explore the area while writing “Circling Home,” which chronicles discoveries including Native American artifacts and the 18th-century graves of British soldiers. The author discusses his work 7:15 p.m. Monday at the Decatur Library. Free. 404-370-8450, ext. 2225. www.georgiacenterforthebook.org.
